Network Makeover

For this project, the homeowner had several key requests. First, he noticed that his WiFi speed was only about a third of what he was paying for. He also wanted to relocate his modem from the living room to his office, install a new security camera system, and ensure everything was mounted neatly to save space.  

We quickly diagnosed the speed issue and upgraded him to a WiFi 6 system. Not only did this give him the full speeds he was paying for, but it also significantly extended his WiFi coverage - allowing him to stay connected anywhere on his property and even at a neighbor’s house!  

For the camera system, we ran the necessary cables to power and connect his cameras using Power over Ethernet (PoE), ensuring a reliable and clutter-free setup. We then configured the system so he can monitor his home from anywhere via a mobile app, with 24/7 recording for added security.  

To keep everything organized and out of the way, we mounted all the networking equipment in a compact wall-mounted rack in his office. Now, everything is in one convenient, secure location—streamlined, efficient, and built to last.
